Capital Support is the Needs Assessment and Service Coordination (NASC) agency that covers Wellington, Porirua and Kāpiti (as far north as Peka Peka). They allocate Ministry of Health-funded disability support services and help with accessing other supports. These services are then delivered by their respective service providers. They work with disabled people under the age of 65. Brain injuries or paraplegia caused by an accident are not covered (these services are funded by ACC), and neither are mental health and addiction conditions.
