Adapt MTB is a community of like-minded people to encourage and support each other in their mountain biking endeavours. They’re building international networks that enable adaptive riders and supporters to meet and grow this exciting and rewarding sport.
They are advocating for, and working with mountain bike parks and clubs to improve accessibility and to make considerations in trail design to accommodate adaptive riders.
They also support event organizers to create adaptive categories of their events and support disabled mountain bikers. They also raise awareness for events that are disability and adaptive biker friendly.
Adapt MTB was founded out of Auckland, but they have community members and events all over the country.
