Manaaki Tairāwhiti – Navigators
As part of the Manaaki Tairāwhiti initiative, our Navigators work with whānau to support them through their social care journey and help them overcome barriers to getting support from different agencies.
Free Hearing Tests and Advice
Are you concerned about your hearing? We provide free hearing tests and can help you access funding for hearing aids and other assistive equipment. We also offer personalised support to help you manage your hearing impairment – at home, at work, and in social situations. Our services are completely independent and fully funded by the Ministry of Health.
Autism Information, Workshops and Support
Altogether Autism is a free, nationwide autism information and advisory service funded by the Ministry of Health. We offer free personalised and reliable information, networking and connection opportunities, workshops, and support. If you have any questions about autism, simply contact us and we’ll provide you with up-to-date reliable information.
Disability Information and Workshops
We provide numerous learning opportunities for autistic and disabled people, their families / whānau, and the people engaging and working with them. Our workshops, courses, and up-to-date information will give you a greater understanding of disabilities and enable disabled people to live the life they choose in their communities. Mobility Equipment and Living Aids
Mobility Centre is New Zealand’s mobility aid and equipment centre, offering an extensive range of mobility products and services including daily living aids, mobility scooters, walkers, braces and supports, and so much more.
