Disability Information Service (DIS) has served the Otago community since 1989. Their service is for people with disabilities, older people, their families/whanau and the community. DIS provides a range of services including:

 

  • Free disability and health information and advice.
  • Access advice and education.
  • Disability responsive training.
  • Assessments for Total Mobility.
  • Fieldworkers network meetings.
  • Mobile services, covering North, South and Central Otago.
  • Continence product service.
  • Range of assistive products to supportive daily living
  • A weekly electronic newsletter on local and regional events and notices.
