Often, clients may not wish to enter residential living; in the home care means they are able to stay in their homes, retain their independence, and live the life they want.

All of their in-home services are provided by empathetic, fully trained support workers. They take the time to carefully match each client with a support worker they feel will ‘click,’ and they keep the same support worker in place for each client to enable genuine relationships.

Clients and whanau are always welcome to get in contact for more information.

They are often contracted to undertake specific tasks around home and community support services.

In lay terms, this includes:

  • Housework
  • Assisting with daily tasks including getting up, toileting, showering, and dressing, through to assistance going to bed

They also provide more flexible supports, for example:

  • Shopping
  • Childcare
  • Respite
  • Companionship

Increasingly, clients have more choice and control over what they are able to request. We can be as flexible as clients direct, as long as their requests are in accordance with any required funding guidelines.

Finally, they have nursing staff to provide hands-on support or oversight as necessary.
