Careerforce supported training is designed to develop real skills that you can apply in your daily job.
This industry training is on-the -job training where the learning happens in the workplace. Trainees can earn while they learn, gain theoretical and practical skills as well as achieve a nationally recognised qualification.
Careerforce supported trainees need to be working or volunteering within the health, mental health, aged care, disability, social services, youth work, cleaning or urban pest management professions.
We refer to this style of training as REAL: Respectful, Efficient, Applied and Living:
Respectful
We formally recognise your experience and competencies so you don’t have to learn things you already know.
Efficient
We will capture evidence of competence demonstrated in your everyday work and match it to the qualification competencies before learning begins. You will be trained based on the skills needed for your role within your organisation.
Applied
We will help you reflect on the difference training has made to you, the people you support, and how you do your job.
Living
Training is all about people. Your training is based on real-life knowledge and skills that contribute to the greater health and wellbeing of the people you support.
