Dance and Art Therapy - Christchurch

Dance and Art Therapy NZ is a registered charitable trust with a mission to support and empower individuals and groups in Aotearoa/New Zealand through the use of dance movement therapy and arts therapy. We have a particular focus on working with those with disabilities and special needs but also work with at-risk tamariki from low income backgrounds and people of all ages struggling with trauma

Arts 4 All Christchurch is a creative arts therapy programme for people with disabilities aged 15 years and over that allows participants to have fun and express themselves. Group numbers can range from 6 to 20, running over nine weeks of each school term. Sessions are also open to carers.

Dance 4 Us Christchurch is a dance movement therapy programme for people aged 15 years and over who have an intellectual or physical disability (including ADHD, cerebral palsy, global development delays, brain trauma, and Autism). Clients can have fun and move their bodies creatively, and their carers can join in too.

You are free to drop into any session - there's no cost to join, though we welcome gold coin donations/koha.
