Earthlink is a charity that supports people who struggle to get into work, due to mental health, addiction or other barriers.
They run a work skills training programme. It runs for two days a week over ten weeks. You will do some classroom learning on health & safety and career development, and then you will engage in practical work-based learning at Earthlink's various units. You can learn skills in:
• Furniture repair
• Small motors
• Dismantling
• Bike repairs
• Retail
• Stock prep
• Recycling runs
• Inwards Goods
The programme will help you to identify your employment interests to build a work profile and career plan. This may include recommending additional training options or referring you to other agencies who may be able to support you.
