In a nutshell... we at H4Y, are simply a passionate bunch of Kiwis sharing "helping hands through caring hearts" with the future generations of NZ.
H4Y was founded in 2012 and quickly gained momentum in creating fantastic life changing influence into the lives of youth and young adults in their city and beyond. They are truly excited about this venture and H4Y is well supported by an outstanding board of Trustees and an ever growing group of volunteers and mentors – many of whom are professionals specialising and aligned with the needs of youth/ young adults in our communities.
The four core values of H4Y are:

| ENCOURAGE | They never stop giving helping hands, affirming words through caring hearts. H4Y form lifelong connections & develop their youths into mentors and support people themselves. |
The service is available for youths & young adults from any ethnicity. The service is inclusive of youth at risk, in particular those effected by family violence and social isolation. Those marginalised, underprivileged and those having special needs or disabilities in Aotearoa New Zealand.
