Land Based Training Hastings

Land Based Training Limited (LBT) was incorporated on the 9th day of December 1996 and is registered as a Private Training Establishment by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) under the provisions of the Education Act 1989 and its subsequent amendments.

Land Based Training Limited is an innovative Tertiary Education Provider with its head office based in Whanganui and branching out with courses and facilities throughout New Zealand.

Land Based Training is classed as a Category One Provider through NZQA’s External Evaluation and Review (EER) process and is nationally accredited by NZQA to deliver New Zealand qualifications from level 2 to level 5. We are a multi funded provider through the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC), Ministry of Social Development (MSD), Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT), Secondary Schools and private businesses.

Land Based Training is a signatory to the Code of Practice for International Students. We continue to work with Education New Zealand in developing our International portfolio targeting linkages with countries such as China, Uruguay, Botswana and Europe.
