The Ministry of Education is the Government's lead advisor on the New Zealand education system, shaping direction for sector agencies and providers. Their purpose is to shape an education system that delivers equitable and excellent outcomes.
Their website contains information about inclusive education, learning support and transitions. Their YouTube page also contains lots of useful information, including the School Leavers' Toolkit, which aims to help young people and school leavers gain the core skills and knowledge they need to launch their post-school lives, by showing them how to apply for jobs or enrol in further education, go for interviews, vote, manage their money, and look after themselves and their mental wellbeing.
